Pomerania boasts the well-established Lech Wałęsa airport in Gdańsk, which has been operational since 1974. Gdańsk Airport has non-stop passenger flights scheduled to 71 destinations in 23 countries in total. The airport maintains extensive connectivity with numerous European destinations like Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Great Britain, Spain, and other countries.

Furthermore, the ongoing construction of additional terminals and parking lots at the airport is nearing completion, enhancing its capacity and services.

The maritime sector is one of the key, priority industries for the Pomeranian Voivodeship. The region’s greatest advantage is the two international seaports in Gdańsk and Gdynia, which are of fundamental importance to the national economy. They operate connections with over 40 ports in more than 20 countries worldwide.
