Description

King Foltest leads Temeria from the Witcher universe in Sid Meier's Civilization VI!

He was a handsome monarch and under his rule Temeria gained a lot after the war with Nilfgaard.
  • His unique ability, Lord of Temeria, Pontaria, Mahakam and Sodden, grants him +6 Gold for each city-state he is suzerain of, a 25% discount on all military units, and a 50% discount on Levy cost. His units also gain a +7 Combat bonus for 10 turns when Protecting or Liberating his city-states.
  • Temeria has the best economy in the Continent and knows how to profit off of it's resources. In fact, all Commercial Hubs have double adjacency bonus and all Strategic resources provide 1 extra copy of that resource per turn.
  • The Landsknechts are professional soldiers of fortune that serve in many armies of the North, but their origin is within Temeria's borders. This unique unit is more costly than the Pikeman, which it replaces, but is stronger, trains faster and receives double Flanking and Support bonuses.
  • Temeria's unique building is the Temple of Melitele. This place of worship that replaces the Temple is a safe place: has +1 Housing, +2 Food, and acts as a Fort, granting units inside instant fortification and +4 Defensive Strength. The prayers to Melitele also make it so that unimproved tiles adjacent to this building yield an extra +1 Food and +1 Faith for each level of Appeal equal to or above Average.

This mod also adds Cidaris and Mahakam as Trade and Industrial city-states, respectively.
  • When you are suzerain of Cidaris, your international trade routes yield +1 Gold for each Coast or Ocean tile in the starting city.
  • When you are suzerain of Mahakam, your Civilization gains the ability to work Mountain tiles, if those tiles receive yields in any way; also, Builders gain the ability to build the Dwarven Mine, an improvement unique to Mahakam, which grants +3 Production, +3 Gold, and must be placed on Mountains, which means it is workable only while suzerain of Mahakam.

How will you lead Temeria?

It sould be a +6, because it's technically a +100% of base value instead of a x2. The policy and Reyna have the same effect, in fact I used that.

How double commercional hub adjency work? When I have river and policy 100 % adjency bonuses, will that hub get +6 or +8 adjency?

The Imperial Provinces are ready to become your Vassals, or fall to your armies!
Test how long they can resist your power on the updated Continent Map , which now also includes the Natural Wonders!

Foltest's agenda is the same as Pericless: Likes civilizations that are not competing for city-state allegiance. Dislikes civilizations that are directly competing for city-state allegiance.

"Dont give up easy, do you?" WTF is that agenda???? Is it even possible for this civ to like anyone?

I am not 100% sure but the bonuses of the temple should indeed stack.

In my opinion getting suzerainty of city-states is quite easy against AI. You could use the discount on levy by becoming suzerain of 1 city-state immediately and then levy their army to conquer the others, then free them so you become their suz.

The Temple of Melitele acting as a fort is just a thematic thing, indicating that it is a safe place. It can be useful sometimes but it should not be the main reason for building it.

Have fun :gwent_gg:

So if a Meliete temple yields a maximum of +3 food and faith, can I mix it with another temple and get +6 (or more) yield? If not it would be handy to give them more tools to gain appeal or at least a culture bomb

I'd give them perks to get quicker rule over city states like Hungary has, because as an economic-religious civilization it's logical and pretty unique for them to rely on a mercenary army, so increasing the city state's army recruitment time might also be useful

And maybe rework Meliete's defense, since it's hard to use it until you have advance troops there. Something along the lines of +1 amenities if a unit/unit standing there gains experience, or maybe that it increases your civilization's range and decreases throughput regardless of terrain.

Landsknechts are pretty solid.
