Reports suggested that Samsung has ditched the Galaxy S21 FE launch owing to the high demand of the foldable. Turns out, Samsung might have changed its mind.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE support page is now live again on the company’s official website. The support page only reveals the model number of the rumoured Samsung smartphone, which is SM-G990B. Does this mean the company will launch the Galaxy S21 FE soon? May be. The company has not yet confirmed the official launch details but the support page going live again does hint at an imminent launch.

There were rumours about Samsung planning to unveil the S21 FE alongside the S22 series in December 2021 or early January 2022. It technically wouldn’t make sense for Samsung to launch its next-generation of flagship devices alongside an affordable flagship belonging to the previous generation. We will have to wait and see what the South Korean giant plans before believing all these rumours.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE specs

The rumour mill claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be fairly similar to the S21 and S21 Plus in terms of design. It will have a flat display at the front with a hole-punch cutout. The screen is said to be 6.5-inch large with thin bezels around it. Samsung will use an AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate on the S21 FE.

The phone is rumoured to feature a 12MP triple-camera setup on the back. Under the hood, there would be a Snapdragon 888 SoC and a 4500 mAh battery. As mentioned above, it is best advised to take the leaked details with a pinch of salt until Samsung officially announces the launch details.
